STARS AND PIFS DO HEALTH SCREENING FOR STUDENTS AND TEACHERS

Nursing student Mary and Med Lab Student Justice and others put on a health screening at Christ Cares school for students, teachers and members of community. It covered various tests and consultations and was well received by all. Just another good thing our Stars do for others.

“BACKTRACK” LEARNING FOR EDINAMAN STUDENTS

Backtrack is a Tomorrow’s Stars method to help high school students to improve their learning, especially in Science and Math. It has 3 parts: First, the coach provides typical questions/problems to the students and the students work them individually, with open books. Second, the students gather in groups of 4 to share and discuss their answers, Finally the coach goes through the questions, allowing students to explain and providing guidance on the more difficult questions. Student Centered Learning!!

CHRIST CARES STUDENTS GET TOUR OF EDINAMAN HIGH SCHOOL

Edinaman HS is our partner school for Secondary education. We thought it would be a good idea to offer a tour for many of our students to give them a look at their future High School Home. It was a wonderful day for them.

STARS TELL THEIR STORIES

We are giving our “Stars” (University students and graduates) an opportunity to make a video to tell their stories. We are so proud of them, each is “becoming his/her dream” with the support of YOUR DONATIONS!!
