Our mission is to “transform lives through education”.
The first stage in our mission is to “Make Education Possible”.
Education is a challenge in Elmina for many reasons, but there are “serious” students and we want to give them a chance, and challenge them. We provide many resources for schools including learning materials, teachers and student scholarships.
We also have our own Tomorrow’s Stars facilities located at Primary JHS schools. These include 3 libraries, a well-stocked computer lab, a science lab, and a KG Resource Room for learning through phonics and play.
Serious Students are encouraged to join reading clubs, girls’ clubs and make use of these facilities. We provide “STARS” who are paying it forward to act as mentors and teachers.
If students perform well on their 9th grade national BECE exam, we support them through HS and expect them to Pay It Forward as well.
